Clancy joins Libraries Connected from Arts Council England where she worked as the Relationship Manager for Libraries, North, supporting library services with funding advice and guidance, advocacy, and strategy. Clancy managed seven National Portfolio Organisations and was the Priority Place lead for Barrow. Prior to that, Clancy led Time to Read, a network of 22 northwest libraries services to encourage collaborative working with a focus on reader development. Clancy was the Reader Development Manager at Blackpool Library Service where she co-directed Wordpool, Blackpool’s Festival of Words. Clancy was the Arts Engagement Manager for Blackpool Council, and she has also worked in Public Health and the education sector. Clancy is a passionate advocate for libraries, and she is excited to support libraries in this new project.
